NDIS Participants Reporting significant Quality of Life Improvements

A recent NDIS report has collected data using a survey from various age ranges and disabilities, asking if, and how their overall life satisfaction has changed since entering the scheme. The Report concluded that NDIS participants saw significant positive improvements in various aspects of life, such as:

  • Improvements in general life satisfaction in participants over the age of 15
  • More freedom for participants to be able to use their free time how they wish in participants over the age of 15
  • Improvements in being able to fit in with everyday family life and in meeting new people and making new friends
  • Improvements in employment rates and boosted confidence in their ability to succeed in the future
  • Participants feel they are better taken care of as opposed to when they were not a part of the scheme
